CURRENT OPENINGS:

Associate Attorney

POSITION: Associate Attorney, Personal Injury

FLSA STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt

SUPERVISOR: Attorney and/or Partners

DESCRIPTION:

Sand Law, PLLC has an immediate opening for an Associate Attorney in their fast-paced, fun environment in St. Paul, Minnesota office (100% remote during COVID-19). Our firm is a multi-state practicing firm in North Dakota and Minnesota providing representation to Personal Injury and Criminal Defense clients.

The Associate Attorney will assist in the partners’ personal injury cases as well as maintain their own caseload. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for developing, growing, and managing a large caseload of personal injury clients.

DUTIES:

  • Advocate zealously for our clients.
  • Conduct legal research.
  • Draft motions, reports, legal memoranda.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies.
  • Appear for court hearings and depositions.
  • Responsible for the integrity and settlement of assigned personal injury cases.
  • Oversee settlements and demands process.
  • Manage the preparation of court documents (i.e. notices and letters).
  • Delegates the management personal injury calendar.
  • Attend and lead meetings, hearings, conference calls, depositions, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Minimum of one year experience as an attorney in the practice of personal injury.
  • Ability to advocate zealously for our clients.
  • Enthusiasm for developing creative solutions to problems.
  • Experience with high activity of phone calls and emails.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

  • Depends on experience (Salary plus bonus)

Case Manager

POSITION: Case Manager

FLSA STATUS: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

SUPERVISOR: Attorneys and Sr. Paralegal

DESCRIPTION:

Sand Law, PLLC is offering a position in a fast-paced, fun environment with a downtown St. Paul setting. The Firm has an immediate opening for a Case Manager in their St. Paul, Minnesota office, but is 100% remote during COVID-19. Our firm is a multi-state practicing firm in North Dakota and Minnesota while providing representation in the fields of Personal Injury and Criminal Defense. The Case Manager will work directly with clients, paralegals, attorneys, and other employees. Their main duties will be to assist attorneys and staff in the progression of personal injury cases and to provide communication to personal injury clients regarding the status of their case. The position includes potential for upward mobility and advancement within the firm while working alongside other staff and attorneys.

DUTIES:

  • Communication with clients regarding their case status
  • Communication with insurance adjusters regarding personal injury matters
  • Coordination with attorneys and staff
  • Assisting the Senior Paralegal with litigation matters
  • Assist with preparation of court documents (i.e. notices and letters)
  • Answer phones regarding potential new clients
  • Helps maintain the personal injury calendar
  • Schedule meetings, hearings, conference calls, depositions, etc.

Client Intake Coordinator

POSITION: Client Intake Director

FLSA STATUS: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

SUPERVISOR: Director of Operations

DESCRIPTION:

Sand Law, PLLC is offering a position in a fast-paced, fun environment with a downtown setting. The Firm has an immediate opening for a Client Intake Director in their St. Paul, Minnesota office. This is a remote position during COVID-19. Our firm is a multi-state practicing firm in North Dakota and Minnesota while providing representation in the fields of Personal Injury and Criminal Defense.

The Client Intake Director will be the first point of contact and responsible for communicating with potential new clients (PNC’s) who contact the firm through phone, email, and website submission. The Client Intake Director will work directly with paralegals, counsel and other employees to manage the acquisition of new clients. The Client Intake Director will also assist with payment reminders, collections, and other administrative duties.

The position includes potential for upward mobility and advancement within the firm while working alongside other staff and attorneys.
