Mitch Turner is a Legal Assistant in Sand Law’s Personal Injury Department, where he helps support attorneys and clients throughout the legal process. Drawing on a background in education and leadership, Mitch is committed to providing organized, responsive support while helping clients feel informed during challenging times.

Professional Background

Before joining Sand Law, Mitch built a career focused on education, leadership, and serving others. He was the Assistant Director at Huntington Learning Center, where he helped oversee daily operations while supporting students and families. Prior to that, he worked as a Program Coordinator for ACCORD, assisting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Mitch also spent approximately four years as a high school social studies teacher, teaching subjects including AP U.S. History, World History, Psychology, Human Geography, Economics, and American Government. His experience communicating with diverse groups and managing complex responsibilities now serves him well in supporting personal injury clients and the attorneys he works alongside.

Personal Life & Roots

Outside of work, Mitch enjoys rock climbing and weightlifting at Bouldering Project. He is an avid traveler who has explored Europe and Asia extensively, including spending a year living and teaching in China, as well as backpacking through Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe. At home, he enjoys spending time with his two Siberian Forest Cats, Echo and Ash.
